From
a dusty old tape this little gem appeared. This ad dates
back to the late 1980s. Strangely enough, Joe's been spotting
doing ads back home recently but the comedy of this spot
is readily apparent.

Some
older rental videos in Japan have ads such as this one run
alongside the previews at the beginning of the tape.Even after
paying to watch a movie, we can't escape the ads it seems.
